Graduation 2014 Card

This is a graduation card that I made using the Up For Grads files from SVG Attic.
Instead of making the card a shaped card like is included in the file, I simply added it to the front of a card base.  I added a lot of dimension with foam tape and the gold glitter paper really shines (DCWV's Glitzy Glitter).  I customized the colors to match the school's colors for a personal touch.
I used twine and wrapped it around the base several times for the finishing embellishment.

If you make any project using SVG Attic files, don't forget to link it up to our May Anything Goes Contest! There are awesome prizes up for grabs!

Also, I wanted to thank each and every one of you for being supporters of my blog!  I have reached 100 followers and it really is an amazing milestone for me.  Thank you for sharing my crafting journey with me :)

  1. Hi Beth : )

Thank you for following me and for cheering me on in my challenge, and for posting my candy to your blog! I really appreciate it : )

I love your card. I have just been thinking on some Graduation cards myself today!

I think it is so neat how the bottom portion of the hat highlights the top of the numbers. Beautifully done.
